The start to the year has been a little unusual compared to previous years, but one thing that has remained is very cute babies coming to Lightbox Digital Studios for their first photoshoots. Baby Photography is lots of fun, even if the subject happens to fall asleep for the entire shoot. I like to give the little ‘models’ lots of time, so that there is no rush for us to capture the perfect shots of these beautiful new little people.

Two very cute little babies came back today to see their photo from recent shoots, and I’ve added a couple of shots from each shoot below.

Thomas wasn’t due to arrive until 3rd of March, so when he decided he wanted ‘out’ on 20th January this year, you can imagine what must have been going through his mum Hazel’s mind! He is super cute though, and as many newborns tend to, Thomas spends a good deal of his time ‘resting his eyes’. His little newborn photoshoot here in our West End Studio went brilliantly, although a quick nappy change for some naked shots did end up with an impromptu shower for his dad Steve!

Next was little Elsie, who is a few months older than Thomas, and follows in big sister Tabitha’s footsteps (figuratively speaking of course!), after Tabitha recently had her third photoshoot from her My First Year Photoshoot package here at Lightbox. Elsie seemed to enjoy the shoot thoroughly, and after a little peekaboo session we managed to capture some truly beautiful portraits that mum & dad Annie & Chris can treasure for years to come.
