On Tuesday night, I was lucky enough to be in the pit at Southampton Guildhall to shoot The ‘legendary’ Levellers. In short, they were brilliant.
Here are some of my favourite shots.

As always, please leave a comment below. Many thanks!

Following my sneak peek at these concert photos a few weeks ago, here are more of my favourite shots from Imelda May’s Mayhem Tour at Southampton Guildhall on 18th February.
With her unmistakeable blond quiff and super sexy rock & roll style, Imelda has probably one of the strongest images in today’s music scene.
The crowd too was an eclectic mix of vintage glamour with rock’n'roll and rockabillty styling, and the atmosphere was incredible as Imelda hit the stage for her second visit here in the past few months, having supported Jeff Beck late in 2010.
I hope you like this set of images from the concert. It’s one that I won’t forget for a while!

Having been the house photographer for Southampton Guildhall for a few years now, I’ve been lucky enough to shoot some truly outstanding gigs for some excellent bands, many of whom are household names around the world. On the flipside, I’ve also shot some utterly dreadful gigs for equally well known bands. Occasionally I get to shoot a band that’s completely new to me, and these can go either way!
So when I heard that John Butler Trio were coming to Southampton Guildhall I didn’t immediately get all excited, even though the hype was more than complimentary. Spotify at the ready, I made a quick search for the band, and loaded up their most recent album ‘April Uprising’. All I can say is that I wish I’d heard about these guys a long time ago, and I now have all their recent stuff downloaded into my Spotify playlists and I’m loving it.
This live show had more energy than a five year old on a sugar-rush, and I was totally glad to be there, especially with a photo-pass! I was even more pleased to get home knowing that I’d got a few cracking shots, and below is a small selection of my favourites. Please have a look, and I’d be really chuffed if you can let me know what you think!
Enjoy!
